Tire well lining

Long story short I had to take out my tire well lining after it broke off and stayed on my tire. So I just wanted to know what the main cons would be with not having it and if it is worth getting it redone. Its the driver front well. Any input would be great, thanks!

It exposes the engine bay to more crap, especially things being flung off the tires... while dust, dirt and mud might not be an issue, small pieces of metal could be.

If you don't feel like buying a new piece, you could just put the old one on and use zip ties and/or small bungee cords to hold it in position.

any warranty? They will replace it if so. Otherwise, I would try to find a junkyard fit or something.
