Hi everyone I just went and test drove a FIT. I can't wait to purchase it. I had to run home and join these forums as fast as I could! Also just excited to get rid of my 2000 Ford explorer that I've hated from day one!

Purchased a 2011 fit yesterday and I am very happy. I went with AT sport with navi. Only had 5 miles on it. This car is awesome. I went with white because it just screamed sexy. I read through the navigation manual and I'm a little bit overwhelmed as I've never used one. I was wondering if there is a break in period on the fit. I forgot to ask the dealer. I'll post pics soon as I get some tint.

 

600 mile break-in period.

Advise from Honda during the break-in:

-no full throttle starts
-no hard stops
-wait until the system tells you to change the oil

This is listed in the owners manual which may be in your glove box.

What do you mean by fall throttle starts? Like trying to go 0-60 off a line? Also am I okay to drive on the freeway?

 

Full throttle = jamming the fuel pedal to the firewall
