both fleets tastefully done! colors...condition....2 thumbs up up over here. i see you got a bit of a thing of olive as i do.
im a fan of the odysseys as well. is it modded? love to see more pics

judging from your posts you really liked the wagon...ive been passively on the hunt for a japanese "vintage" wagon for a project car. my financial situation should be changing soon so i can maybe get a toy. did the 90 wagon have any quirks or anything that you didnt like or gave you problems with while building?

Haha, love the "Spoon" sticker on the Odyssey. Nice photography too.
Thanks! All pics were taken with my Google Pixel 3 phone LoL!

The Spoon circle game pic us from an old famous Honda buddy, Jason Katman. He runs a small operation called K20 Mart and he shipped the sticker in with a shift knob ordered from him.

Thanks man! The Sport is really, really nice and was the first new Honda since the Fit that I drove that reminded me of olden golden days Hondas.

The Odyssey is only modded with Tein S-Tech springs and KYB dampers, and a few OEM+ stuff like folding CR-V center table/console/cup holders, and some 16'' 2016 Civic LX steelies and hubbies.

A lot of people don't understand how truly badass, and versatile these 95-98 Odysseys really are. Insane cargo room, no heavy bullshit sliding doors, fold flat third seat, all rear seats (bench middle style only) can be made into a bed, third row seat flips back as a "drive-in" seat, handles like a car, etc. This is the comfy, fun to drive family/bikes/cargo hauler:

I kept that wagon for eleven years. Loved it dearly until one day it got bumped at a redlight by a semi truck as I went to take off - he "didn't see me" and pushed me two times through the intersection. Through a long, drawn out and drama-filled ordeal my wagon sat at a highly reputable, very well-known nationally recognized paint and body shop owned by a buddy of mine. It sat for three years. Waiting on the trucker's insurance at first, but then waiting to be worked in amongst the Ferraris, wide body Porsches, Lambos, etc. etc. since my buddy was "doing me a favor" by not allowing it to be totaled out.

Once I finally got the car back it was never the same again. Hatch rattle, air could be heard coming in, brand new bumpers and trims had faded but were refinished and that finish wasn't the same as the new shit I'd bought. Essentially I fell "out of love" with it and sold it this year after almost taking it down to a shell to rebuild and do it right. It basically was too similar to my 1994 Si hatch, but did everything that Si does only way worse haha.

Honestly?

I'll probably never own another EF chassis. Mine was a RARE find. A SoCal car with zero accidents, rust, service records, and everything upgraded was top-notch. I won't waste my time trying to duplicate one again. My heart has always been with the 1992-1995 Civic hatches.

Aside from my own specific issues post-wreck though, the wagon never gave me big issues. It's not as refined as the EG chassis in general, but it was solid. Easy to work on. Reliable with a B swap. Fun as shit to drive with a B swap as I'd shared years ago here originally.

I've never been a huge fan of imported JDM cars mainly because of the overly hyped, not usually true "low mileage" stuff, rust, and general condition after riding on a boat, then trucks, etc. to get here. I'd only buy a RHD imported JDM vehicle that we didn't get in America. That's probably just me. There are door slammer/non sliding door Odysseys that catch my eye that were never offered here.

I won't totally discourage going after an EE 88-91 wagon, bit the hunt will be tough to find one that's just simply not beat.

sucks about the accident with the wagon...and all the aftermath.

the 90s hondas are my favorites. i like pretty much all of them. actually most 90s japanese cars. fun stuff....cant wait to play again too

Thumbs up

Sorry about you wagon, but the EF's are a pretty bitch'n model run, but that me.

Nice work! To get them to that point and keep 'em there is a job all by it's self.
Crazy cool EG/ Stance.

Yeah, I don't get out of my 100 acre woods here much, lol, great to see others keeping the older Honda vehicles in LN condition.
