Finally got my plates in the mail.
Bleh, California requires front plates. Too bad, since the bracket installed is the one that attaches from the inside under the front air intake, no holes in the front bumper.
So, I'm debating installing nice blank stainless steel frames or just going nekkid. No plate frame at all. I don't like being a free driving ad for the dealer.
The plates on my Mazda are nekkid.
I'm leaning towards going nekkid with the Fit. It's cheap.

Nekkid for now. Texas has a law that prohibits license plate covers from obscuring the word Texas on the license plate. 
I doubt they enforce it much, but why give them a reason to fine you $200 on a whim? There's plenty of small cities around here that make the bulk of their money from traffic stops.

The "dealer name" plate frames lasted about a week. In NY, clear or tinted plate covers are prohibited by law, and I'm in no mood to enrich the state over something that trivial. My plates are nekkid and rusty.
