"Upgrade" 2007 Sport to 2011 Sport?

My wife and I are happy with our 2007 Fit Sport. We've had no problems with it. And we continue to be impressed with the Fit's annual reliability ratings in Consumer Reports.

Similar to other Fit owners, no doubt, we received a letter (and an email and a phone call) earlier this week from our local Honda dealer, offering to 'reward us for our past business' by upgrading us to 'a new 2011 model' ("with additional features") with no money down and a 'similar' monthly payment.

When we purchased in 2007, we financed for six years (!) -- so we still have 20 payments remaining. I figure the dealer/Honda wants to move us to a new payment plan that will have us paying for another 5 or 6 years.

Is 'upgrading' from a 2007 to a 2011 a good idea? Having a car under warranty again is certainly appealing. Also, we've grown tired of the manual transmission; we'd love to have automatic--although that will likely add to the price.

Anyway, does this sound like a good deal? We're planning to visit the dealership later this week. What questions should we ask? What would you try to accomplish, if you were in our place?

Lastly, we purchased heavy-duty floor mats, an interior rolling hatchback cover, and a cargo tray; how likely is it that these are compatible with the 2011? If they aren't, we're hoping to work out a deal where we can get the same options on the new 2011.

Thanks for any comments!

If it was me... I would have the old vehicle completely paid off before looking at another one. But, that is just me.

Honda will consider the trade of your 2007 as the down payment and will add
whatever is left over to be paid to your new vehicle loan.

If you Honda dealer is offering the .9% interest and you have a much higher rate on your 2007, it might change the picture somewhat.

None of your accesories are compatiable with a 2011 model. Dealer prices for those are about $300. You can find slightly cheaper online and Ebay though.
