exactly.

my 02 wrx gets around 18-20mpg mixed 27mpg on long road trips. gas is so pricey, i only throw a $20 at it when it needs gas. our garage doesn't need another quick car. anyone want to trade a wrx for a 5MT Fit?

Hey Jay, got one of those too. Had mine since new. Still having fun with it, over 100k miles later.

1st owner with 100k+ too. it still runs like a champ. it's been modded since the beginning. has UEL header, UP/dp, catback, vf30, sti inj, walbro fp, ecutek. suspension mods up the wazoo. the coilovers need rebuilding. what have you done to your wrx?

Not much. Mostly just to stop quicker than go faster - Prodrive axleback, Goodridge BBL, Powerslot slotted rotors, Hawk pads, RallyArmour mudflaps, SSR Comp wheels type C +50 offset, 225x45R17 Conti DSW and a Cobb shift knob. Got tired of burning my palm on the Sti knobby. The rest is all stock and plenty enough for me. No lowering or suspension mods coz I hate driveway and speed bump crawlers nor do I do any considerable G's to think of. Got the short shifter and boost gauge too. Just want to get out of people's way faster. Sorry.... still love my Rex. To me the Fit is the scaled down version of it... around town anyway.
