I need help urgently!!!

Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2004 honda fit from a port auction. it's a japan import and only had 22,000km on it. however, it keeps vibrating when moving off and I finally learned that it's the start up clutch, so I just ordered a new one and I am looking to get it put in next week, but I was told this problem will occur again quickly if I don't use the correct transmission fluid in the transmission after its flushed. some sites say best to use honda cvt-f fluid which comes in a white bottle but I am having a hard time locating companies that actually sell it. is this the best transmission fluid to use on the 04 cvt fit transmission and where can I purchase some and if this is not best fluid to use, what is? Please help I really don't want to have to spend tons of money again

I have no idea the answer but I am sorry you're having problems and I hope you get things working properly.

Honda says:

Honda Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF-Z1):
American Honda P/N 08200-9001,
Honda Canada P/N CA66689
Always use Honda ATF-Z1. Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift

You can buy it on-line [Amazon.com].

CVT fluid is required. I am sorry to hear about your problems but the car was bought a port auction and I would imagine your problems just started. Its most likely a car from Japans Flood.
