Window Tinting

I'm from the bay area, any good window tinting places and what should I expect to pay for my tint?

That's not bad. Most of the quotes around here are about $300. My buddy is doing it for me for about $190 for as much as I want. Still debating on doing the windshield or not. Definitely doing about 30% all the way around.

Don't know the % of transparency but I told them I wanted it as dark as you can get and still be legal, they were not to happy doing the little windows at the front but they did them anyway. Lifetime guarantee.

Legal in Louisana is like 40% max I think. I don't know anyone that gets that. 40% is what you get from the "factory tint" option. Not dark enough for me at all.

Depends on the film and the shop. Something like Llumar or F1 Pinnacle will probably run you ~$300 . Cheaper films will run ~$200.

I got Llumar air blue 80% all around including windshield for $400.

I heard he's good but i was quoted $450 for ceramic tint. Is that a reasonable price? I've seen others around 300 or sub 300, not sure if they are any good though.

Does anyone know if LLumar CTX Ceramatix will cause any interference with cell phones and GPS used from my car? The tinter wanted me to do some research before he does anything because he can't guarantee that it will or will not. Cerematix is not metal so I don't think it would. Any other thoughts?

thx for the info everyone.
Now the challenge is to find a place that does decent work at a decent price. $450 is a bit much from the place that's highly recommended.

Anyone else form the bay area who could recommend a place that does good work at a cheaper price than 450?

Tint is definitely needed in the Fit. It is like a fish bowl with large windows. Also, the A/C isn't the best and needs all the help to keep up. I paid $165 for all the windows.
