US government safety testing

(Fit not yet rated)


Please add any other entities outside the US that have safety rated or crash tested the Honda Fit/Jazz

The IIHS site doesn't have the Fit yet, but it's good to see that the NHTSA side crash is about as good as their earlier frontal test was, and the videos are great--what good design to crumple just right!

Then you want a 2006 Honda Civic, not a fit.

I have similar disappointment to the 3-star for side impact injury to rear passengers. The effect of mass and physics I suppose.

I wonder what the IIHS will measure.

= 5% or less chance of serious injury
= 6% to 10% chance of serious injury
= 11% to 20% chance of serious injury
= 21% to 25% chance of serious injury
= 26% or greater chance of serious injury
