Well my commuter car has been coming apart for some time and I have been keeping my eye on the US Fit for quite a while. After talking to my local Honda dealer and talking with the dealers in Denver I was getting pretty discouraged. The local guy said I might be able to get one by December and the Denver dealers are selling them with extra packages (pin stripping etc) or are selling them for quite a bit over MSRP. I finally told my wife to go to the local guy and get on the list.

While she was there a customer from Telluride called and cancelled his order on a Silver Sport AT that had just arrived at the dealership. The salesman (Jim Rajner) said they would sell it for MSRP. Sold!!! We both went down the next day and tried it out. Not great power but it works for us. I really wanted a MT but when I need to play with a shifter I always have my TSX. I was thinking about a Toyota Matrix when this deal came through. I need the room for the pups. (a Yellow Lab and another on the way) Much thanks to Fuoco Honda in Grand Junction for a very smooth transaction!!! We are enjoying the car a bunch!

Room for the pups (lab mix & oversized terrier mix) was one of my main reasons for getting the Fit. Just watch out for the clingy pet hair on that upholstery!
