YAWWWNN!!! oh sorry, this 2012 just bores me. no SI trim no real sport trim, just the same ol' Fit and Fit with bodypieces and a few unnecessary things to weight it down further.

For those considering buying new FITs, it would be long before the FITs are no longer made in Japan.. 2014?

I meant of the actually car, not some color icon on the website.

I can't wait to see the new colors in person, that listing of the new colors just doesn't put it into perspective for me. Also, they must have really listened to someone out there about the sport and the black headlights, lucky for the new 12' buyers, unlucky for us pre-12' guys/gals!

I think the FMC should include a sportier version. MMC is always cosmetic. Maybe an R18 with 140hp in a few years would be nice...

oh.. and it won't be at dealers until November likely.

I test drove a Fit yesterday and the salesperson I spoke with wasn't even familiar with the changes made to the 2012. He also thought it had a 6 speed manual so maybe not the most reliable source of info.

I was really hoping the 2012s would start arriving soon 'cause I'm ready to buy one.

The only sales people you will come across that will know anything until after the vehicle has been on the lot for 4 months, are those that are Honda enthusiasts. Those will be few and far between. You will find out WAAAAAY more info on sites like this and Autoblog (Sadly, two sites that most Honda Sales people have never even heard of) and when you do read about them online, there will still be months worth of time until they are available. Vehicles have annual cycles that are either truely annual, or GREATER than annual (vehicle may be released in March of 2011 as a 2012 but the 2013's won't show up until 16 months later [or July of 2012]). I don't think I've ever seen a model year run for less than 1 full year. The 2011's were released in Nov of 2010 so You'll likely see the 2012's show up in Nov of this year.

Sorry to break the bad news but unless they run a short model cycle, you'll have to pick up an '11 or wait for a '12.

No worries, thanks for the heads up. I don't think I'll wait; I'm indifferent about the interior/exterior changes, the only piece I maybe care about are the road noise improvements.

yah, do your homework learning the car from online sites like edmunds, motortrend, caranddriver, etc. never mind their comments, just learn the car's features, test drive it and review/decide for yourself.

Honda updated their site and here is a better look at the Blue Raspberry.

Also, I've already seen the 2012s popping up at dealerships.

I just test drove a 2012 sport model. It really is MUCH quieter. I'm soooo glad I waited.

2012 Sport on the way

I own a 2007 and love it. My baby girl just turned 16 and will get to start driving it in a month when my 2012 Pearl Blue arrives. I don't know who is more excited . . . . me, or her.

I just ordered a 2012 Raspberry Blue. I have only seen the other blue, being the Vortex Blue. Is that the one you have on the way?

I've had a terrible time getting the Raspberry Blue. I had to special order it.
