thanks for the heads up. I live out in the burbs but am down that way pretty frequently, no one is stealing my wheels!

 

I remember when they showed that story here in Chicago. I was happy who ever the last owner was had the locks on the wheels even if like anything else they're defeatable, but still more of a pain to deal with.

 

Last year a Tidewater GE and a Storm Silver GD were the victims in my neighborhood in Albany Park, Chicago. I drove by them daily and then one day they were on concrete blocks with no wheels. I bought wheel locks the next day as a small deterrent in case thieves were after the easy targets.
