Not yet purchased a Fit Poll

I do not need to buy a car right this minute so I have the luxury of holding off until I find just the right car - the Fit is the right car, but I am put off enough by the aero cladding and wing (I know many love this stuff, to each his own) to hold off on a purchase until there is a trim level that includes all the Sport features without the aero stuff.

Am I the only one? I did a poll some time ago on options without the aero stuff and 70% wanted a choice.

I think you missed two options. 1) I WANT to buy a Fit, I just can't find one in stock! 2) I refuse to pay over MSRP for a Fit.

This was really for "folks who have put off a purchase", which on this board I expect to be few, but I am asking just the same.

I don't have the luxury of waiting as my present car (87 Toyota Tercel wagon) is gently losing functions, and AC is pretty necessary here in TX. I've been on the list since mid-April for a base mt, expecting arrival in August. I would have preferred cruise as an option, would have preferred a regular "hole in the dash" for user-friendly after-market stereo installation. Other sport features are not so important to me but I do not care for the aero stuff AT ALL, especially the skirt because I am already worried about clearance on our gravel country roads.

I voted in your poll even though I'm buying now. Maybe this will help Honda with next generation's supply-demand balancing act.
