Hey guys. i am in the process of getting a kit for my 2004 fit, yes it's an older model but has very low mileage and I just changed the start up clutch so it drives like a beauty. Anywho, it is in need of a paint job and I figure now I am getting the full body kit why not really make it look special. I am not sure how to paint it, can any one give suggestions on what they think is hot and send link to pics of them if possible?

What color is it now? Do you like that color?

IF you do you would want to pick a color that is similar, because there are parts that won't get painted...(if you care)

But since you are going to paint it, you would want to paint it a color you like...but we would not know which colors you like...

Either way I would pick a color other than the standard Fit colors to make it unique...

 

I definitely agree with this. Unless pulling the engine out and dissassembling the whole car, pick a color that will look good with the bits and pieces that you can't get to.

 

Thanks to those who posted replies. I really appreciate it. I will take your advice and probably keep it a color that is close to the color it is now which is like this creamiest brownish color for lack of knowledge of the correct color. I was thinking of going white and paint the rims white but I will reconsider. I will p.oat pics of it if I am allowed when I get home from work tonight.

 

Golds and Yellows work with Brown, as would a maroon...

Leave the bay brown and say you did it on purpose. I hear it's cool to mismatch your bay these days anyway.

If I were completely repainting my car, I'd go for a Mardi Gras theme. Purple, gold and green, with lots of fleur de lis. So that's my suggestion. Its also why you shouldn't ask me for decorating advice.
