Sport spoiler on base, how hard to install

I just purchased a white base 2012 new Fit w/mt. I would like to put the stock sport fit spoiler on my car. How much do you think it will cost, how hard will it be to install and how much will I have to worry about it rusting around the drill holes in the future. Is this a good place to buy one? Since that is just a factory STYLE spoiler, I wouldn't buy it. Nothing wrong with it, but since there are so many people upgrading their stock spoiler, you can probably buy and OEM one off of people here on this forum for cheaper (and possibly have it be the same color).

Installation should be pretty easy since it IS OEM.

Just a warning, your car will probably look rather weird with the base bumper/no side skirts/etc. and a sport spoiler.

Good point, I'll have to look into that and see how much different there is.

Oddly enough I just priced this out for one of our salesmen. Parts alone were something like $450, go used if you can. As far as installation goes, actually a little more involved then just slaping it on there. You would have to drill holes for the clips and 2 bolts to go into. If you are going to do it, do it right!

Thanks for the info, more food for thought.

I love the look of my base in it's natural non-spoiled splendor. Do it if you want but you might want to wait a bit. The clean natural lines of the base grow on you after a while.

I agree. Since I have been driving my Fit I have come to like the simple look of the base. I won't be adding a spoiler.
