What other fun cars did you own before or still own with your Fit
I joined this site back in 2006 way before I owned my Fit. The one thing I notice is you have owners at two ends of a spectrum those who want performance and those who want economy and the rest of us who want our cake and eat it. But no matter what everyone wants out of their Fit the one common theme when everyone describes their Fit is the word "fun".
So I try to remember my other fun cars over the years since I have owned close to 20 different cars. Here is the cars that was the most fun including my Fit:
(1) 1985 Celica GT (first new car)
(2) 1992 BMW 318ic
(3) 1995 Miata (still own).
All had in common 4 cylinder, rear drive (Fit excluded), manual transmission, good handling, and not that powerful.

Kind of wish this forum had a section on "Fit Projects" rather than under the photo section. Just went through your build great car.

96 del Sol - this was fun in the same ways that the Fit is fun. But way more so. This is the simplest car I've ever owned.
91 Mercedes 300CE - This was fun in different ways. In particular a two-decade-old straight-six that revs to higher than the Honda engines I've had. Worrying about the repair bills was less fun and I sold it quickly, buying it was a poor choice.
89 Buick Century Coupe. Yeah, yeah, but don't knock it until you tried it - 2700lbs and the big engine option (3.3LV6), a fun car to chuck around if you were as unaware of handling limits as I was in college :P

MG's
That's short for Morris Garages, a British Leyland subsidiary.
`62 MG Midget
`59 MGA
`67 MGB-GT
Definitely learned how to twist some wrenches keeping these Brits running.
Wish I had kept the `A'. It was great fun.
First car was a `59 Anglia (English Ford), the one Ron and Harry fly around in. Mine didn't fly, and wasn't much fun. At 28-HP, fresh off the showroom floor, it barely ran at all. My copy was 13 years old by the time I got it. What a POS.

I think all the cars I've had have been "fun" cars, to me at least.
First car - '86 VW GTI (totaled in 6 months, what a dumbass I was at 17)
'83 VW Rabbit GTI
'71 Volvo 142E (first rear drive car, a blast to drive, though not fast)
'73 VW Beetle (lowered, Cali style)
'84 VW Rabbit GTI
'90 Civic hatch
'90 CRX si (B18, coilovers, race seats, hoosiers etc)
'98 VW GTI (2.slow)
and now the '08 Fit
I also have a '73 VW Westy sitting in my garage, someday it'll move under its own power and will hopefully be fun...

The most fun vehicle I've ever owned was a '70s era mail van. Sold as surplus from the postal service in Honolulu, it was one of those boxy blue and white jobbies with a garage door rear and driver on the right side. Based on a Ford Bronco chassis with a 250ci straight 6. Hauled a ton of stuff. Came complete with a real fan bolted to the dash.

My last car was an '04 Whippled convertible Cobra, sold it about a month ago. 631hp and 637 ft/lbs of torque, yes I kinda miss it but she has a new home in Sweden.
Didn't sell all of my toys though, still have the Ape and Trumpet...

You sir have 2 of my 3 favorite motorcycles ever built (throw in the 916 to finish the trio). I bow down to your great taste.

1991 Civic Hatch w/Y8 motor swap and Si trans.
2004 WRX Wagon 5 speed
1993 Del Sol Si
2009 WRX 5 Door 5 speed
Countless Jeeps which are fun.
The Fit is a new kind of fun; something about this car makes me always want to go drive it. It is also very fun to save a ton at the pump these days.
