Talking Count me in!!!!

You guys rock!!! I put the money down today on a VBP Sport AT. The only problem is I now have to wait until Oct-Nov to receive our little beauty! Dealer was charging MSRP and destination charge. I thought that was pretty good. They only offered one package, the all weather package. It included mud flaps at all four corners, locking lug nuts, and the all weather floor mats for a rather healthy sum. I turned that option down thinking I could do better on the Internet.

I just want to thank you guys for being so influentual in helping make this decision. Your enthusiasm for the FIT is absolutely contagious!!!! Love you guys!!!!

Congrats and most likely you made the right decision by not buying that stuff from the dealer

The mud flaps don't fit on the sport anyway, only base model.

I told my dealer I didn't want any dealer packages, and stood up and said, "if its mandatory, I'll find another place where it's not". He supposively checked with his manager and they threw it in for free. And in the end what was it all for? The wheel lock only.. they wanted 500 bucks for a wheel lock. I told the guy from the very beginning, the flaps wont fit. We debated for 5 minutes straight.. then when I picked up the car.. I said, "so, what about those mud guards?". He sheepishly replied, "oh they dont fit." Ya no shit.
