I need ya'lls help
I need ya'lls help
I come from an unorthodox Harley forum where we love all bikes and all cars....regardless of make. I obviously own a Fit and got a "friend" who recently bought a 500 and modified it a bit by lowering it and getting some rims. I'm cool with that except he started talking some smack about OUR Fits!!!!
I am looking for racing video pitting a 500 vs a Fit but I can't find anything. Can ya'll help out if such a video exists? I can't find such a beast.
I told him that if we were to line up to race and I lost, I would simply point out my 57 cu feet of cargo space vs his 17 cu feet!

Well maybe the race shouldn't be lined up at all but rather at the airport pick up or Home Depot loading zone...
Sorry couldn't help you with the video...
Line up and race.....
This comes from a Motor Trend review of the 500:
This is the part of this review I've been dreading. The part where I have to tell you how fast the Fiat 500 isn't. Ready? 0-60 mph needed 9.7 seconds. The quarter-mile eventually happens after 17.2 seconds at a lowly, slowly 78.5 mph. Though it has four-wheel disks, stopping from 60 mph took a ho-hum 131 feet.
The fit runs 8.2 seconds and 16.3 sec @ 83.3 mph. Now, they did have identical times on the 200ft figure 8 course, but who races figure 8's?
Also, US News World Report ranks the 2012 Fit at #1, the 500 at #19.
And like you said, the 500 would barely hold a load of groceries.

Does he have the Abarth with turbo? if not You got him covered.
I prowl the canyons of Socal in my Fit and often play with Miatas and Minis but have yet to run in to a 500 that wanted to dance lol
Have your friend post up and I'll meet him and settle the score for ya
