Every Time I add something...

To my new Fit I am conflicted by two ideas...
  • Puting lipstick on pig still leaves you with a pig.
  • YOLO

So far I think I have been fairly conservative:
  1. Adding window tinting cuts down on the heat load.
  2. Adding Swift springs and Progress anti-sway bar improves both the ride and safety during spirted driving.
  3. Adding cargo carrier helps preserve the flimsy carpet in case of spills.
  4. Adding the cargo cover keeps the contents in the boot safe from prying eyes.
  5. Adding seat covers will help preserve the original flimsy seat covers.

How does one prevent the transition into obsessive compulsive modding
mode? ( my dear departed mother would have called this a form of masterbation )

just set a budget and stop when you reach it.

then save the extra money for your next car, dont spend any more on your Fit.

Unless you find you need more power and decide to boost it, I'd think putting some very light weight wheels and sticky tires on it is a good stopping point....Then you need to just drive the hell out of it and enjoy.....
