1969? With some Polyglas Goodyears even!

 

Derek, Good call. Yes it was a 1969 with the fat Goodyear Polyglas tires. Standard versions came from the factory with 325 HP, but I had the optional 350 HP and over 400 Ft Lbs of torque. It was one hell of a muscle car for around $3000. A far cry from the Fit.

 

Sweet! A friend of mine in high school had a '69 307 Chevelle that usually had empty beer cans in the back. As you may know from my previous post I was lucky enough to have a 71 Buick GS455 for a while. I have a picture but the dang site won't let me attach one. Anyways, I still have my first car I bought in 1991 which is a 70 Buick Skylark 350. Slow and a little rough now, but still fun to drive an old school V8 around every now and then

Ahhh, the mini-truck years...good times. Cool truck man. Lots of friends had those in the early to mid 90's. Funny how kids 15 years later thought neon was something new lol. Snug Tops, BF Goodrich Euro T/A's, and vanilla air fresheners were very popular with my crew it seems.

 

Thanks! Yup I had family that minitrucked in the late 70s 80s 90s and then me the 2000s I babied the crap out of that truck and that was my only regret!!! I should've drove it like I stole it!LOL

 

Some of you may laugh, but my 01 Focus ZX3 with Ford Racing coilovers was awesome. I ran it for 85k miles with having to do nothing more than change fluids and gas 'er up. I ended up selling because of rust issues, though.

I also hearted my '06 Tacoma 4x4 and I'm still pissed that I sold it because of pressure from the wife.
