Most will advise against it. I have been researching the Llumar Air Blue 80. Pretty awesome stuff....

(No affiliation)

Let me know how it works out.

It's illegal in most, if not all states to do front windshield tinting. Some will allow a strip at the top. There's even a marker imprinted on the windshield (near the side) for you to see roughly how low the strip can go.

Personally, the only reason I would tint the front is to block as much heat as possible in the summer. So, I'd go with something that has maximum blocking, but clear as possible (to avoid police issues).

On that note, I'm going to have to eventually replace the tint on the rear hatch... it got messed up when I was transporting my Ruckus without my usually sweater covering the handlebars. The bouncing of the hatch caused the hard surface of the handlebar to scrape off bits of the tint.

I'm Chinese, but neither of the dialects you mentioned. I'm Teochew. Unfortunately, my Chinese is so bad, I used Google to get that phrase (from a song).

Just google the phrase "Llumar Air Blue 80" (with the parenthesis). Should give you a wealth of info. Best of luck.

Just go with what's legal when it comes to the light transmittance (the % figure).

Over here we're pretty lax with tint but I understand that too dark of a tint is counter-productive. I've had 3M Black Chrome BC35 for a few years now. It's a 35% tint which is still very usable at night. So far, so good.
