Timing belt change interval.

When do you have to change the timing belt, at 60K or higher? The owners manual does not mention anything so far.

Timing belt? What belt?

There is a good reason for that . Your car has a chain, not a belt. No need to change the chain.

for drive belts, check for cracks or damages periodically and if still good, you don't have to replace. Part of inspection is to check the auto tensioner indicator is within specs.

Thanks, That's all I wanted to know. The reason why I asked was my previous Honda had a rubber timing chain/belt. It had to be replaced at 60,000 miles. Now that it's made from metal, it just needs regular lubrication.

The timing-chain gets its oil from the engine. No additional maintenance required. It's a life of engine kind of thing. Follow the maintenance minder for everything else...

Do check that the lost motion spring (LMS) recall campaign was performed on your 09. These springs, if they are not replaced, may fail causing severe engine damage. They're part of the valve train.
