Thumbs up Fit Based Crossover Concept Drawing - Revealed in Detroit

Looks like Honda is getting serious. Look at the body work.

Though it has been stated by Honda they will be unveiling a Fit-Based crossover, there is no official word on whether this concept is it or not, IMO, it looks a little too big for it to be a Fit of any kind really, I think it'll be more like the ongoing Brazil version rather than a bigger vehicle closer to a CR-V, and that's what this pic looks more like to me.

Wtf? That ain't no Fit, as far as I can tell. Why would they make it a two door? Evoque fighter?

Kind of looks like the Civic wagon at the 2012 Paris auto show: http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2012/09...ion-wagon.html

I bet it will be a euro Civic wagon, which is odd that we'd actually get them. But a two door? Defeats the purpose. The Fit is already a copy of the old civic wagons pretty much.

They already updated that for another couple years recently, it looks a lot better but IMO it's still a useless car when they already have the awesome 4 banger CR-V with a K20!

Dealer tried to push me to get the crosstour because it fits my "Personality" over the Fit. god was that thing horrid when I looked at it. I honestly think Honda gets some random monkeys to play with there prototype clones and crash em into each other to think of hybrid ideas.

I know we wouldn't buy one. Got the FIT for my wife because of the decent rear visibility. The concept looks like visibility would be worse than our '12 CRV.

Would be interesting if Honda is going in this design direction what the next generation Fit would be like. Wide wheel arches.

For anything heavier than a Fit, they're going to need something more powerful than an L15. Just saying ...

Strange because the interior looks like a 4-door.

Still trying to figure out what is Fit based about it. Is it based on the 2015 Fit? If so what part is it based off of? The magic-seats? The mid-section? ...?.?

It looks like a 4-door to me. The rear door handles are on the top close to the window. Maybe Honda is trying to make something to match the Toyota Venza?

Four door if you go to link on my posting above and go through the pictures you will see it is a 4 door. Just the angle of the picture.

It's very stylish and would be a competitive option. A lot depends on price and performance.

It's a four door. The factory website images clearly show the rear door with handle in the C pillar.
