Hello guys, i just bought an honda fit 2005 , but the engine it's pretty bad, i wish to know if an engine coming from an honda fit 2007, 2008 or 2009 can work in my 2005's car. Thank You very much for your time!

It should bolt right in if the donor motor is taken straight from another GD like yours. I'm not aware of any differences in motor mounts between an L13A3 and an L15A7, but the GD chassis ran both engines so I don't see any problems.

L13A3 surplus motors have gotten plentiful where I live. Unfortunately 90% of them are mated to the CVT, and mine's got a manual gearbox.

 

Fixed that for ya. The L15A7 is the GE's engine.
