35.3 MPG overall over 9900 Miles.

Car gets similar MPG local or highway driving.

Gee, you must be one of the "liars", or "math-incompetents". Me too. Congrats! What is strange to me are the reports of 20 mpg. from some people. I will grant that that is possible, but would rather suspect the math skills in those posts. Who knows?

LOL no math involved here. I used an app called Road Trip on the iPhone.
I will admit that my data is somewhat skewed. The fit is not my only car and I do not drive it for short distance driving nor for winter driving. The car is mostly stored inside the garage from November trough March and the battery is hooked up to a trickle charger. It's driven roughly 9K miles per year.

If I drive the fit everyday, I doubt that I will get an average of 35. I can see how someone can only manage 27MPG overall driving it everyday.

2010 Base M/T

Used to get about 40 combined until I had to change my commute to involve more city driving, as well as climbing a big hill to take my daughter to school. Stopped driving in gas saving mode as well (got tired of it).

I get about 34-36 combined now.

My city mileage is high 20's, using imperial gallons, which are 1.2times bigger than the gallon most of you are used to. Where I live, I have to stop every six blocks. Highway mileage is low 40's, again imperial gallons. I meet the EPA city rating, and beat the highway rating.
