GE8 Supercharger kit from Power Enterprise - Japan

So I was looking over the spec sheet for the little C8 Rotrex units and saw on a seperate page they had this listed under applications for the C15-60 unit:

Rotrex A/S

Rotrex A/S

Anyone want to try and contact them (Power Enterprise)? Curious to see what they are tuning with!

Hmm... from what I learned from my "GE turbo kit" discovery, that is def a JDM Fit they show this installed on... Even more interesting is that I see injectors and a tuning box, and the harness does not look like a wire in.... Interesting to say the least...

All they say is a black box that controls engine management and fuel trims plus a MAF clamp. It is a good sign for the GE8 though.

This is different from a rotrex or turbo install in that RHD may not be a factor.

Cold pipes and the SC bracket, etc. should be able to be used without modification.

Then the question is what to tune with? I have a few thoughts, but curious to see what Power Enterprise decided on.

My thoughts exactly.... Wonder if any of the "headers" would be any use to this setup.

I'm curious as to that harness since Honda supposedly has a death grip on the OEM connectors...

If you use Google Chrome you can translate this page to see LOTS or interesting things...
VŒ^‚e‚h‚s ƒX[ƒp[ƒ`ƒƒ[ƒWƒƒ[ƒLƒbƒg ROTREX

493500 Japanese Yen equals
5872.90 US Dollar

says 156ps/6600rpm and 17.8kgm/4800rpm

or

I'm not so sure about that.

The thing is, I know that the TOP near the front (radiator support and grille cover) are laid out differently between JDM and USDM. The question is, how is the radiator laid out in relation to the engine? And any openings they might have used for the pipes. I mean, I'm assuming that the item near the bottom of the parts picture is an intercooler, which is usually placed in front of the radiator, right?

But, other than that, I assuming, if the issue is just piping, it can be easily gotten around by just (going to a shop) making something that fits. Right?

Incidentally, your first Rotrex A/S link shows a JDM GE8, but they do have a picture of USDM GE8... but still the JDM engine bay... so... I dunno.

That should just be an oil cooler unit for the Rotorex... Finding areas to mount that, the lines and the filter might be different, but they are not "large," at least not as large as a typical front mount intercooler.

The rest of the "charge piping" appears to all run behind the engine... not so sure what that space looks like as I've only personally done front struts on a GE and I did not take off the cowl...

Well, that is just based on current exchange rates.... It MIGHT be cheaper depending, but some one has to be the guinea pig and find a US distributor...

Personally, at that price, I rather go with the Sprintex (except for the fact it's not available for USDM GEs). Don't have a good reason why I like, I just do.

Did a little googling... apparently "Andy's Auto Sport" sells a Sprintex kit for 07 and up, but then lists for "Generation II". Personally, never liked that online shop. All in all... I have no idea what to think about this.
