Squeky old bed sound when I excelerate
You know that sound an old bed makes with real old springs when you lay down and get up? I get that iritating sound when I give my Fit some gas. Also when I go over a speed bump. Front only, not the rear. I park it and push down on the finder to try an duplicate it but can't. It is an 09 with 94k miles. Surely it is not the shocks! Anybody have a idea. Is there an easy cure? I like DIY

Your foot?
sorry.
rubber suspension bushings in Hondas are prone to dry out and make annoying noises.
I talked to Honda about it and they offered to replace them. Instead I bought and give them a squirt when I change the oil. No more squeaks, squeals, or groans. At least from the car.
