Long drive...sort of.
went to seattle yesterday with my honda fit...from Burnaby.
i got it up to 150kms....but would not get to 160 even with my foot floored to the pedal.
anyone ever take their fit past 150kms.
Again dissapointed with gas milage
my co-worker gets close to 650kms on a full tank with her 06 yaris(manual)

93-94 mph does seem low, so more info may be needed-- was there a headwind? Do you weigh a lot? Was the road level, etc?

Yes low!!! I find myself at 80mph without knowing and I have put it to 100mph a few times (but don't like to because I am a reformed speeder) but it goes easely. anyway try beating the hell out of the fit for a few days. that should help the computer learn and fix the mix for you ( if that is the problem) see, the computers learn tfrom your way of driving and readjust to that ( I don't know if the fit computer is one of them tho )

What kind of mileage were you expecting to get driving like that

I have gotten the Fit to about 105(about 170kph) on level ground with NO difficulty. I dont think that anything kept me from going faster other than that my last ticket just fell off of my insurance...perhaps you do need to beat on it a bit for the comp to learn to mix more appropriately.

Well, tershel, you ain't gonna get good gas mileage if you have your pedal to the metal like that. Speed takes gas.
