Fender Removal, 2007 Fit Sport
Hey guys, any tips for removing a front driver side fender on a Gen-1 Fit? I am planning to replace it with a new service part as the damage cannot be easily repaired.
Thx in advance!

Here's a pdf instruction for installing a fog light kit on a GD Fit. On the bottom of page two, you have a diagram of 12 self-tapping screws you must remove. I recommend jacking the front of the car if you can or else it is a pain to get under the car.
Note that to remove the bumper, I had to carefully pry off little tabs that where holding my bumper against my headlights. I used a flat screwdriver in the little gap between the top of the headlights and the bumper; I was real careful and was afraid of wrecking my headlights but I didn't hurt anything. I also wasn't able to disconnect the foglights which is necessary to fully remove the front fender.

Thx Hootie, I think that will work. I was hoping to not have to remove the bumper and headlight but I could certainly paint that while I'm painting my new fender. I should probably replace my inner fender liner too as that is also slightly damaged.
Still, in the hope of saving some time, I'm wondering if I can access all the bolts w/o removing the bumper and light.
Nevertheless... An excellent link!
