I don't know which are lighter but to answer your 2nd question, I love the 2012+ rims. I wish I could find a set for a reasonable price.

Not sure which one is lighter but it is an interesting question.

I think they're both hideous.

I weighed my 2013 sport wheels & tires at 36.4 pounds. Tirerack says the OEM Dunlop tires weigh 18 pounds, so that must mean the wheels weigh in the neighborhood of 18.4 pounds.

I am not a huge fan of either wheel.

I added blue decal H to mine. I still kind of like them. Just a pain to wash. I was looking at the new ones at the dealer and like the polished part.

I believe the weight is about the same.

For the 09-11 Sport alloy...

It seems the 2012+ (18.4lbs) weigh more than the earlier wheels.

I don't really care for either of them, but the earlier ones have grown on me... but they're a pain to clean, broke 2 brushes trying to clean between the spokes.

Good to KNOW! I will have to upgrade my rims to something that is a bit lighter... any good lightweight recommendiations for 15"/16"

Its funny, the Mini 15" base rims are something like 12 lbs. BUT they are crack skinny 175 width.

THX to everyone for ALL the help and comments.Looks that the 2009 rims is the winner. Is the more lighter.Talking about how hard is to clean the 2009-2011 sport rims... Is very true.Clean them is one of a kind. You must use a brush and a microfiber towel to do the job.Looks that the 2009 wheels wins which one you like also too.Again to ALL FF members... THX for the help.....
