color me blue
color me blue
Hi there, my very first post... awwwwwe... So yes, I'm going to go tomorrow to replace my 2010 CR-V with the baby CR-V, Honda Fit. I'm going to be looking at the 2013 models, and I'm curious if the Vortex Blue Pearl is much different from the Blue Sensation Pearl. Maybe I'm the only one who notices slight changes, but it seems that all the other car makers are making an effort to make their blue cars very noticeable, and the blue Honda Fits that I see and like are all the older models that are the Blue Sensation Pearl.
Does anyone know if there's much of a difference between these shades of blue?
I truly feel that if I'm spending this much money on something, I should like the color. That's one of the reasons I'm not crazy about my CR-V - its that opal sage washed out color and its just sad looking.

Ah, thank you! I was thinking I was imagining things. That's too bad. That's my only complaint about Honda is their color choices. That Blue Raspberry color is awesome, but I'm not sure I'd be happy with it. Who knows, though. At least I'm not the only one on these forums who cares about color
I had an '07 VIVID Blue Pearl. After it was T-boned and totaled, the only option I had for replacement in blue was VORTEX Blue Pearl, a much darker color than I prefer. I agree, Honda's color palette sucks! Now, if only I could have gotten the blue on the EV version, (and the matching 5 lug wheels)!!!!

See, and there is my answer. Its just not worth it to buy an old one when the new ones are not that much more than the used ones. If that blue is too dark, I might just go with the red. The Blue Raspberry might be ok, but it seems more suited for a younger person or something.
