To me it looks like that near butt-ugly Insight without the bulky, heavy-looking rear end (Out of proportion, too thick from top-to-bottom, rear-end view from the side). Don't see the Fiesta, except for maybe a slight headlight similarity.

Anyway, the front 45 degree angle-view looks like the Insight with a Nissan Versa rear stuck on it... the way the rear slopes outward from top to bottom.

If that's the new '14, then I definitely won't be trading up.

Exactly! Shape as a whole sorta' reminiscent of an oblong, near-shapeless turd... or, as you said, like a Prius!

Not really excited about the mirrors. But you would think that based on Honda's model changed over seems like every 6 years that the design would be toward the future design changes along the Honda lines. Seems like it is more geared toward current model designs and could become more outdated as to exterior design. I think the Civic is schedule for a change in 2016.

Calm down peeps. Just like the 3rd gen, the Fit only looks hot with a Sport package. Tons of pics here:

Too bad the RS won't come to America. We'll get something that looks even more bulbousy thanks to NHTSA regs, and has half the optional equipment.

I like it ok but glad I got my 2012 Sport.I'm sure Honda will be on top of QC at the Mexico plant but I'll take my made in Japan Fit.

I wonder if Honda feels like a RS or SI version of the Fit will somehow canibalize the Civic or CRZ here in the U.S.I plan to keep my Fit for a while and check out the Dodge Dart SRT4,Golf GTD,Mazda speed3 and the Kia 5 door with the GDI turbo.

I also have not taken both the Fiesta and Focus ST off my short list.I just love my little Fit so much that I over look the lack of power compared to the others for now lol

Looks like OP was on point with his original pics

Alot of the current Civic can be seen in this Fit but I am glad to keep my 2010 instead

Looks like they added a center console and height adjustment to the seats. Hopefully we can swap out our GE seats in the future.

New console seems lower-profile than the fan-favorite replacement. I think I'm okay with it but I'd have to test it in practice.

What's that panel on the floorboard under the recline handle?

Not sure what that panel is for? The styling kind reminds me of the Impreza hatch I am sure the bumper will be extended out for the US version.

It looks like mazda 2. I still prefer the look of the old models except the head and tail lights are better in this new model.

The million dollar question is do we get Japan build Fits or have to wait for the Mexico built Fits.

2014 Honda Jazz (2014 Fit) await to be delivered to dealers

I purchased a 2013 expressly to have a Japanese built Fit, the jury is out on whether the 2014 Mexico Fits will be a quality build.
