New Fit Hybrid Drive System

I just found this video. Hopefully, this drive train will be available on the new third generation Fit when it arrives here in the US.

Any comments?

The new system looks amazing. Definitely going to give Toyota Prius C a run for the money. The only frustrating thing is that in the US, we are going to get the hybrid as a sedan only

We were going to wait for the new Fit with the possible hybrid system but when my wife saw the interior and exterior pics/video of the newer model, she said she didn't like the looks of the car(we have a 2012 Fit Sport which she loves)and wanted another option. At her employment, many co-workers have the various Prius models, some having over 100k mileage that have been trouble free but she didn't care for the looks and wanted something a bit smaller. I told her that I thought there was a smaller Prius and began looking into the car. She saw one and fell in love with the Prius C. We have had the car for around 6 weeks and have been very happy with the 50 mpg and performance. It is not a pocket rocket, the Fit feels "quicker", but taking it on the freeways and steep hills like those in Pacheo Pass was not a bother. Found the handling quite good and pretty quiet inside.

When Consumers Report tested the Prius C, they must have just finished their wine tasting reviews. Our experience mirrored none of the complaints found in CR.
