front end shake

front end shake

i have gd3 and recently noticed that when i brake from 65mph or higher my front end shakes like i can feel it through my steering wheel,and a lil bit on pedals too..only happens on that certain speed nothing when im on streets cruising ike 50mph below..and its worst when brake going downhill..is it my rotors?..anyone?..

Likely pads and rotors.

yea my friend told me it might be warped rotors, but im not sure coz others say that could be axles?..or engine mounts...

My vote goes to rotors also. It's the only one related to braking among the three areas you mentioned. Had that feeling with another vehicle of mine - warped rotors.

Engine mounts and axle issues wouldn't come up as braking symptoms. Just my take.

i am also with a mind that it is a rotor causing the trouble out of your vehicle .. you must go for the specifications to get it right

If it were axle shafts, you'd have vibration whenever you're moving at speed, not just when you're braking. If it were engine mounts, it would be more related to throttle action than to braking. (I think engine mounts more typically caus a single clunking sound as you transition from accelerating to coasting or back and the engine rocks one way or the other, rather than a more extended vibration; however, there there may be other symptoms I'm quite ignorant of.)

I've been experiencing the same.

its most def the rotors, giving your symptoms.

new set of rotors n pads and you should be good!
