Honda Graduate Incentive

Hi,

I have an experience about the Honda graduate incentive and would like others input about it. I am currently wanting to buy a new Honda for my wife who recently graduated college. Her credit isn't great right now so I would like to pay cash for her car. I have been told by two dealerships that I can not get the graduate incentive without financing. However, I was told by Honda customer service that it could be waived when paying cash.

What bothers me the most is that the two dealers that I have had experience with so far are not even willing to look into it. They don't act like someone that wants to sell a car. To me, even if it is "policy" to have someone finance the car, it basically makes no sense when they are willing to pay for the entire car upfront.

Be willing to hear others experiences or even someone from within the industry.
