We have been reporting in detail about the 2014 Honda Fit aka Jazz. The latest to have emerged about the new Fit is that it has garnered 62000 bookings in one month since it has been on sale in Japan (The car was launched in Japan on Sept 5).
Honda has said that the number of orders it has received for the new Fit is more than four times the monthly sales target they have set for their latest hatchback (Honda has set a sales target of 15000 units for the new Fit in Japan). Thanks to this yawning gap between the sales target and the demand for the new car, the manufacturer could manage to deliver only 19,388 new Fit hatchbacks in one month. However, the great response that the car maker has received for the new Fit has ensured that the new car is the third best selling car in Japan.
