I've got no garage and we're starting to get into snow season here in western Nebraska. Can anyone recommend a windshield or upper car (window areas) cover that will stay in place in heavy wind and keep ice/snow from the windshield?

If you're not parked somewhere where they aren't allowed, I would suggest an interior car warmer. My wife has been using one for the past three winters. Not only does she have to do limited scraping of frost/ice (she still has to brush snow off the car), but her car is warm inside when she gets in.
