Taking off the front bumper
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum but already some of your maintenance and DIY threads have helped me loads.
I was tinkering around into my fit just trying to get to know it better (nothing actually wrong with it) and I decided to take off the front bumper after I took off the grill. I got all of the phillips screws off as well as all the plastic clips, and all that was left would be to release it from the clips of the headlights, but I encountered a second problem. There is a rubber protective strip lining the bumper and fender area around the front wheel. This strip is glued on, and I don't want to peel it off without knowing exactly how I reattach it, etc. Does anyone know what I should do about this rubber strip?
I took a photo of it but I can't seem to figure out how to attach a photo to my post, so when I do I'll upload it to show exactly what I'm talking about.
My car is a 2009 base model.
Thanks in advice for your help guys.
