first damage!!

I was crouching in front of the car removing the front plate but then this moth came at me and my head went into the bumper and my glasses made a little chip in the paint. I'm so pissed at that moth! I don't think I can sleep tonight, even though the chip is the size of an ant. but I'm still not sure if it's a tiny pebble from the freeway or if it was me.

well my question is if anyone has used the touch-up paints before (http://www.handaaccessories.com/fit07.html) and if they know the best way to apply them. is there something you have to do to make the surface smooth? because the chip is pretty rough.

i used the touch up paint... just follow the directions and it's fine- apply paint, allow to dry, buff.

Someone mentioned that touchup paint not being a good match for the VBP....like no clear in it. I used the Honda OEM one from the dealer and it matches pretty well.

I got my VBP touch up paint from the dealership and it matches perfectly with the pearl and clear. Follow the steps and it'll turn out great!

I thought someone posted something about that touchup paint not working too good. I think I would just get some from the dealer. That way it would be a better match.

does the OEM touch up paint come with clearcoat? because clearcoat is a must for that factory shiny layer.

Try touch up paint from http://paintscratch.com/ for a perfect match.

The parts guy at the dealership claimed the fuzzy end of a cardboard matchstick works better than the brush (Honda touchup paint). I preferred the very tip of the brush. Got a tiny mark on the bumper that was probably from a stone.
