Like I've mentioned before, it helped that I bought both my S2000 and my wife's ;02 Accord there, and we do all our service there, including my old '93 Civic. I also send them business by telling folks to go to them when I hear someone looking for a car. It's all in the relationship.

Is there any of you pay it under MSRP by any chance?
I actually bought mine used with about 500 mi. training car from torrance.
fit sport 5at, no floor mats, no accessories, msrp -5%, $14,045.93, taxes $1,158.79, license $158 total ...otd, out the door (off the lot) = $15,362,72.

not really a brand new car, but serial #000085. with some nicks and a few scratches, does that count? I've since bought floor mats, and had the windows tinted.

Damn I wish they capped our auto sales tax like that, it's just regular sales tax out here.

And we have 8.8% where I live

My out the door price was $18006 for a Sport AT, and I got a small refund after my tag was officially transferred from my Accord. I got it back in April, sight unseen, with no extras. Had to buy my own floor mats. You got a good deal. My dealership can't even get their hands on more Fits even though they're getting lots of calls.

I'm suppose to get my Fit next week(fingers crossed)! My dealer had this package deal that they make me take with cargo tray, splash guard, paint stripe, and the etching on the window. My question is, do I have to take the package and if the splash guard do not fit on the sports model, why do they offer the package? Please let me know cause i'm new to the car scene and this is gonna be my first car!

Thanks!

What the hell is a 'paint stripe'? Is that like a 'pin stripe'?
That sounds really ugly!
I would never have a pin stripe on my car. Yuck.
I'd tell them to shove it up ther a**.

Yes, I think the dealer did not understand that the mud guards don't fit on the sport model. They kept 'insisting' on putting them on. Hehehehe. Go figure.

I actually ordered two weeks ago.
My dealer said ETA would be no latter than October 15.

The order is:

2007 Honda Fit Sport Automatic
Vivid blue
Carpet Floor Mats
No dealer stickers/liscence plate frames
No more than 5 miles on the car. (If a service drive is required for purchase, I must be along for the service ride).
OTL Price: $17,510.

I'm very excited.

These days it's pretty difficult to find any Fit for under MSRP.

The demand is simply so large that it is very easy for dealers to ask for and get MSRP.

LuxuryFit,

Your price is very good. My dealership said no mudguards on the sport as well.

On 8/4 my dealership in Richmond Indiana wrote:
2007 Fit Sport AT is 16874.00 plus 99.00 doc fee 1.25 tire tax 1012.44 sales tax. Options included are cargo tray, all season floor mats and bumber protector. Taking delivery on monday 9/25.
