Hi guys I ordered my FIT sport in blue a week ago and I am wondering approx when I will get my car. I wrote down on my contract with Honda that if they do not deliver by Oct 15th I can cancel my order and recieve my deposit back. Does anyone have any information that can help me get a better understanding about the approx deliver time.

Not to be a real jerk but did you look around at all the messages here , espcially the ones titled waiting times?

 

well if you already signed a contract that means that The car is in-transit. Depending on when it left japan it takes approximately 3-5 weeks to get here. If you call the dealership you bought it at your salesman or sales manager can tell you exactly when it left japan. Hope that helps!

I'm not sure I understand that. I have a signed purchase contract dated June 6th. All that guarantees is that I get the next White Sport M/T that the dealership receives. The request was accepted by the factory last week (I hesitate to call it an order since it doesn't work that way), but there's not even a build date yet. Based on that, I'm expecting end of October at best.

O, it is not a contract then. If there is no purchase date yet be prepared to wait at least 2 months before getting it.

 

well i signed aug 8th with a build date of nov/dec, if that gives you an idea. but i agree with jack... definitely take a look at the other posts on here about waiting times and if i were you i would definitely call your salesperson. they should know when they will be having another shipment coming in, what they are allotted, and how many other people signed purchase orders and are waiting for theirs to arrive.

 

If you weren't given a VIN # the car promised to you can still be bought/sold from under you. $$$'s talk......

This seems to be the practice of dealerships as of late.
