I did! And I've been singing FlashPro's praises for the last few years! If I could keep the tune and sell it so that more people could enjoy the FlashPro I would, but alas, it can only be locked to one vehicle at a time. Sorry everyone else!

They have nothing for your GK, or even GE for that matter, don't get too excited.

You can always do standalone

I kind of think there's not a ton of stuff we can do right now anyway... what is out is what is out. Until the ECU is cracked we're kind of limited for GE and GK people. I mean you can do piggyback or whatever but what year is it?

The only thing that is lacking is the motor, and the motor doesn't lend itself to cheap power. Sure there is plenty of stuff out there to build a N/A L15 with decent power, but who here is going to do it? Who is going to pay for it? Who's going to install pistons (which are available) bump compression, run standalone ECU, run a cam (which is available) There's been a few guys overseas, that's all i've seen. I'm sure as hell not going to do it, it's a newish car. If I wanted to build a motor i'd build one that's has a better performance base that I can do much more cheaply and get better results.

TBH with everyone here, the Fit is a great car for what it is, throw some suspension and tires on it and enjoy the relatively efficient, eager and reliable motor. Go race in STF autocross, go race in some spec series. What you DO have and can be happy for, is a dead reliable 1.5L motor with decent powerband for the size, that you could probably run trouble free in a 24 hour endurance race and not even break a sweat. It's just not that kind of motor to throw a bunch of parts at that's going to take you to the next level. Go K series if you want to do that. There's plenty of suspension available for the Fit, enjoy it.

Sorry, just thought that needed to be said, I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings. I love the Fit, I love my car, I just know what it's good at, and what it's not good at.

Even Rally Cross drivers of Fits say all you need to do is add high friction brake pads /suspension and rims, and the car is good to go. When I drive my car it feels more fun than day one every time. This car is bullet proof.

Good post! Even if someone was to extract a fair amount of power out of the Fit, it probably would be hard to harness it with it being FWD. I'm a HUGE fan of AWD (Subaru guy). It would suck to have a really nice motor only to burn rubber every time I want to utlize its power.

well my other car is fully prepped and is an identical build to a close friend who is nationally competitive. Just because I don't race, doesn't mean I don't like building and showing something that would be very competent in the right driver's hands.

Taking comments to heart here and taking a few steps back. ya, there is more aftermarket than I give credit to. Its apples to oranges, I flip through things expecting and looking for X, Y and Z and only see V, W and X .

LSD is good for that.

They make those too for the Fit

FWD is not the setback, the motor itself is very well optimized from the factory. Without breaking it apart and changing internals, there's not much "cheap speed" to be had from it. Sure you could throw a turbo or S/C on it and make 150-200 HP, but you have to fab it yourself. It seems everybody wants something packaged in a box with a nice bow on it.

I'm not a huge fan of FI power, so that's not appealing to me, but the option is there.

Coming from a few cars in the past that had almost NO aftermarket support stateside, the choices I have with the Fit are exciting. At least you guys don't have to overnight ALL your parts from Japan lol
