Actually the alloy wheels and 15" tires end up weighing almost the same as the 14" steels, hubcaps and 14" tires.

Having driven a base model and a Sport model, the amount of road noise on the base model is way more noticeable than the Sport. That is only because of the tires. The Sport is very good value if those are the features you are looking for, kind of like we were with our Sport Fit.

The paddle shifter is an Automatic if you're on D-mode, downshifts and upshifts but will not hold the gear.

On S-mode, it holds the gear just like a manual.
