Colour Choices: Silver / Orange
Both colors are arriving in 7 days. Which one is a better color for AT Sport?
The dealer says Silver is the best and orange is the worst because it is very bright and gets really dirty; so they ordered a Silver?????

Which Color, Storm Silver or Orange Blaze Metallic?
I have the Storm Silver. It's really a matter of preference. The internet manager told me that when the Fit was released in April they were swamped with calls for the silver (I preordered the only one they got in that first shipment). The Orange Blaze Metallic was the last one out the door, but I think it was only around for about 48 hours. The Vivid Blue Pearl was in the showroom, and I don't think the black & red even made it out to the lot before they sold. Check out all the pics on the Forum. People did a great job of showing off their Fits to best advantage. I wouldn't wait to see them when they arrive at the dealer -- they may get sold before you see them!
I had the same decision to make. Here's my opnion: BOM - flashy, sporty, cuter, and stands out more SSM: classic, sharp looking, hides scratches and dirt pretty well, and "blends in" better with other cars.
I actually ended up taking the SSM mainly because I did NOT want to stand out from the crowd (I'm a musician and have to take my car into not so nice areas at all hours of the night and have had cars get keyed before). I just get the impression that people would leave a SSM alone more than a flashy BOM.
I also wondered if I would get "sick" of the BOM. You know - kinda like butterscotch pudding: It may taste good once a month or so, but if you eat it every day for every meal, you'll lose your taste for it....

I had a "teal green" car from the early 1990s when they were all the rage. It was still "teal green" when I sold it two weeks ago, but it was no longer the rage. Wondering why we did not pick blue, grey, red.....
Ditto with the rash of bright yellow cars, so I guess yellow cars are no longer considered bad luck?
I love my BOM...have had nothing but compliments, especially on the color!
It does get a bit dirtier than I had oriinally thought though - but that has definitely been the only downside for me. Actually plan on giving it a wash for the first time here today if I can.
My other car (truck) is a Solor Yellow Nissan Xterra - so - I like to stand out, vehicle color-wise I guess.

Between those two, definitely BOM. There are *so* many silver cars in all makes and models. I used to love silver cars, until I saw how common they were. I've seen a lot of SSM Fits, too. Most common color choice, along with MR, around here. Stand out in a BOM
