I just purchased my new EXL w Nav on Sunday night. I also purchased the "Perma Plate" treatment which includes an exterior treatment and an interior Scotch guard like treatment on the seats to water proof the seats, and window tinting.


Well, when I came to pick the car back up, they had not completed the window tinting, so I decided to keep it at the dealership for another day to complete the tinting.


Well, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't drive it home, but it was fine. While I was waiting for the complementary shuttle to the car rental company, I opened the door to see how the inside was.


I noticed a significant smell of mold and mildew, smelling like wet laundry that had sat for days. But, the seats looked fine though.


I'm very concerned about this smell. Should I be? What should I do? Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.
