front seat comfort

Hello fellow Fit freaks: I would like to ask others of you who have already purchased your EX-L what your opinion is of the comfort level of the leather front seats? I just took a test drive of an EX-L this morning and I like the car a lot. But I'm on the fence as to whether I could get use to the narrowness of the front seats when compared to my 2008 CR-V. My CR-V front seats are 4.4 " wider then the Fit. As someone who has some spread in the rear (you know what I mean I'm sure) it would be nice to have a little more room in the hip area. So have any of you had a hard time adjusting to the seats when compared to your previous vehicle? Thanks for your input.

This is totally different for me, I bought the EX-L and this is the first leather seats I have owned. I found them to be stiff but have adjusted to them. I assume they will become more comfortable after time and breakin.

Well it's hard to compare different models as fit is a different platform from crv and everyone has different needs as far as comfort. Ive test driven several compacts and subcompacts including the new fit and I think the seats are fine overall. It's best to take several test drives under different driving situations (freeway, streets, etc) if possible to get a better idea of how you'll feel with the car.

I don't have an EX-L, rather an EX, but I am a 5'11 close to 6' 390 pound guy and I am sitting quite comfortably in any of the seats in the car.
