Heated Leather seats?

Here's the current deal breaker for my wife. She wants her next car to have heated leather seats. They Toyota dealer says they can add leather heated leather seats to either their Yaris or their Scion Xa. The Honda dealer says it's not an option on the FIT but they could move me over to another Honda that it would be available. Does anybody know of an aftermarket source that makes such a product to fit the FIT? Our Michigan cold weather and my wife's cold blooded nature is going to make this the turning point as to whether we get the Fit or not. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Go to a decent car customization shop. Installing heaters and putting leather on the stock seats should be easy. Wont be cheap though.

Like on the show, "Pimp My Ride". That dude, Ish, he has done this multiple times on that show.

How would they deal with the side airbags in the seats?

By not putting leather over the side airbag plastic portion. It will just require more labor...

You could always check-out

They do not have the fit listed, but they have one for the insight, civic, accord and element.

I am not sure that this aftermarket solution would interfere with the side air bags.

There are two aftermarket makers of custom leather seat covers that are approved (saftey wise at least) to work with the side air bags in new autos.

I'll post the link to the sites once I find it.
