Now that's funny.
Bought A Starter.
Bought a starter from Amazon for only 75 dollars.
It's a rebuilt from D.B. Electrical.
I'm keeping my original Mitsuba starter and having it rebuilt. So I have another starter ready on standby.

Well, this past week, installed front & rear seat covers. Black with red highlights. Also black wheel covers, with red circular accent. Got oil change at local garage ( we kept my previous '95 coupe alive for 30 years ( 378 K miles)) While on the lift I scrutinized the underside ball joints / boots / exhaust piping. All good. Previous (original) owner kept car very clean. Rotated tires, will post pictures soon.
2016 LX 155315 miles.

New Tires, etc.
Mavis installed Falken Sinceras on my 2015, and they also told me that my front brakes were due for replacement. A printout showed that the alignment was off by quite a bit, so I had them do that for $129. Everything is twelve years old, so while I was waiting for the tires, I ordered rotors, pads, calipers, and hoses. Total cost: $235. Mavis would charge $1,395.

I wouldn't replace the calipers. They should last the life of the car.
With close to 100,000 miles, I thought it would appreciate new parts. I thought $253 for everything was reasonable vs $1,290 to have them do the job. 😉
I miss-interpreted your post. I assumed they were telling you you needed new calipers. Not that you just wanted new calipers. I'm all for spending money on cars if it pleases you. My Fit has 230,000 miles on the original calipers. I'd probably keep the OEM calipers. You're probably not getting Honda OEM calipers for that price. If you someday have an issue with the new ones, you could always slap the old ones back on.
If you ever decide to rebuild the OEM calipers, the OEM seal kits are the only way to go. I've tried aftermarket and OEM, the aftermarket are garbage.

Rebuild kit for the caliper.
Honda wants $430 each for the calipers. Seems like highway robbery.

Honda- highway robbery? Shirley, you jest!
Mavis quoted me $1,290 for the job, so they wouldn't be paying Honda. It will cost me $253.
