Drives straight.
I looked at my KBB Value and it looks like worth maybe $8500. The quarter panel and inside wheel well look like it would cost $$$ to repair.
I am thinking close to totaled.

From what I can see Rear Driver door is toast, Quarter panel toast, inside door area wheel well toast, rear tail light toast, rear bumper toast.

if its just body damage i doubt they will total it. if your frame was bent from the impact u have better chances. did ur airbags deploy?

No airbags deployed. Just heard the big Crash then spun out sorta like you see those police cruisers do to cars they want to stop. I just thought it might be totaled due to all those pics of totaled Fits similar to mine. I think you are right, it all depends on Frame or damage I cannot see.

I also don't believe it will be considered totaled. Based on the pics, the damage doesn't look that extensive, and only appears cosmetic. With that said, if there is damage to your frame, as mentioned earlier, or to your axle or suspension bits, etc, your repair costs will climb quickly.

Guessing $4000 in damage at the most, likely lower. New door skin, cut and replace the quarter panel, bumper skin.

Not good now his insurance has denied claim they called my insurance and said driver is denying fault. My insurance will now look at my car and investigate. I will update after its done.

Doesn't look totaled to me. Did you get a police report on the crash?

No police report. My adjuster came out yesterday he says only $3300 worth of damage and they are only going to repair rear bumper. Replace door, Replace Tail Light and replace rear quarter panel.

I am going to get a second opinion since now the rear makes noises like a rattling. I think there is definitely more damage under the rear bumper. I guess what the supplemental is for. (Extra work). If anyone can recommend a (North Dallas) let me know.

Thanks!

might as well have been a hit and run without a police report. glad ur insurance is covering it, but at your cost.

I honestly thought that it was a non emergency event and we did pull into a empty parking lot not to tie up traffic. In hindsight I should have called 911.

I am going to weigh my options on how to proceed legally. The insurance said they would go after the other driver but now with the claim so low I don't know if it will be worth their time.

I think when the Body Shop starts working on it their will be more to fix.
If anyone has any recommendations for a shop in the Plano/Frisco/North Dallas area let me know.

Thanks!
