Hi all,

I tried to search on google and on forum, but I couldn't find anything. I want to buy a Honda Fit from 2008 imported from Japan. The frame number is something like 6E6-107XXXX - replaced with XXXX the last four numbers.
Do you have any ideea how can i decode this or if this is normal?

If you are thinking about running CARFAX on this car, please be advised that this can only be done on cars imported from USA. No luck for japanese cars other than the dealer's word.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I could not tie 6E6-107XXXX to anything VIN related. All VIN numbers should have 17 characters. Perhaps it is a body number?
